Been back from vacation for a week now (almost). Work has been a pain getting caught up, but all in all OK. Finally posted the pictures from MN. The two of Jodi and Bob didn't come out in focus :( And they were good ones too... I was particulary proud of this foto from the Miniapolis St. Paul airport of an IE error on the Arrivals terminal!. I was pretty scared knowing that we trust our air traffic to Microsoft...

Remote Web Workplace for SBS2003 requires the following ports forwarded from the router to the SBS: 3389, 443, 4125. I have 444 set up to forward, but not sure if that is something that probably needs to be cleaned up.

Need a DBA for NAS Technology Consulting. Not sure how to ask / tell my boss, seeing how that is how they lost their last tech guy... Put together this price list and brochure as a jump off point. Need to update it with qualifications and areas of expertise.

We have been back from our cruise for a few days now. First day back to
work for me... :( Not too bad, but a lot of work to catch up on. Our
cruise on Carnival stopped at the Grand Cayman island and Ochos Rios,
Jamaica. I posted
pictures from the digi cam, but we are still waiting
on the underwater shots from snorkling.

We just got the latest cable box from Insight. The Motorola DCT6412 III with dual HD tuners. Lotsa buzz around this box on AV forums. I'm trying to find out what can and can not be done with this unit. Best info I have found so far: the 30 second skip!
1) Press the "Cable" button at the top of the remote to put it into Cable Box control mode.
2) Press and hold the "Setup" button until the "Cable" button blinks twice.
3) Type in the code 994. The "Cable" button will blink twice
4) Press (do not hold) the "Setup" button
5) Type in the code 00173 (for 30 second skip).
6) Press whatever button you want to map the skip function to.
I personally use the Parental Controls "lock" button, because it is next to the replay button, but most people have been using the Input button (which apparently does nothing) or the Favorites button.
For more programming codes, the CJH Engineering Website has nearly everything you need to know.
Here is the Remote Control Programming PDF.

SoundClick is awesome. I just found this looking for free & LEGAL MP3s. I created a page for Finish Your Food and uploaded a couple of songs I already have on this website. This flash page looks cool though: Premium Content It costs money, so I'm not sure how long that "preview" link will work. Someone tell me when it breaks so I can remove it.

Jodi and I had a blast this weekend. We went to the Indiana State Fair on Friday night. So much food to choose from!! I ended up not getting any kind of fried twinki /sp? snickers or reeces cup... :( but I did manage to get a cheesecake on a stick! Kevin was not happy that I beat him and Jodi in wack-a-mole, and Jodi wasn't happy that I chose the Homer prize without asking her! Lose - Lose situation! Other than that, we had a great time eating, viewing, riding, and sweating!

The next day, Jodi and I met up with my mom and Liz to go to the zoo. The monkies are hilarious and cute. The dolphin show was cool. All in all, a great time was had by all. The pictures for the zoo adventure are HERE.

I was just informed that Nate's late brother, Aaron, has had a memorial brick laid outside of Nick's English Pub in downtown Bloomington. I will be photographing the memorial and posting to the website today or tomorrow. (it is raining right now)

Also, I just learned how to update my blog from anywhere, so I needed to try this out! :-)

I am continually worried about the state of Intelectuall Property, Copyright Laws, Patents, and the DMCA. This is a very interesting read called The Right To Read by Richard Stallman. The story is fiction, but all too real. Please be sure to read the Auhor's Comments.

We have been back from Panama City for a week now. I have updated the Vacation album to include our photos from the beach. The pictures of the Saturn rocket are from Huntsville, AL. Also, I have posted pictures from Rob and Lisa in Alaska.

I have just about every photo to date uploaded. Now I need to go through to categorize and comment. The pictures are searchable, however only after I have tagged them. So, in the future you will be able to search for "Jodi" and see all of the pictures with Jodi in them.
NEW Just added the Guestbook! Tell me what is good and what is bad. See a picture of yourself you can't stand? I'll take it down. See a picture you want in a 8" X 10"? I will send you the original! Cooooooool.

Changed over the pictures section using Gallery. A real classy GNU/GPL product. The project homepage: Gallery Website. I was using a program called Express Thumbnails, but trashed that as there was a lot of administrative work. Besides just looking cool, Gallery will allow anyone to upload and comment pictures and movies to the site after I give out permission. So, just drop me a line.
...Just added video to the gallery. Our Wedding - Kevin & Amanda's Wedding - Jem & Amanda's Wedding and of course My Kitten.
I would add the music page, but I better MOW THE LAWN!!!!! :-)
...Later...
Ok, sooooo my lawn mower won't start. I guess it wasn't just Jodi. Need to get that fixed. For now I am waiting to pick up Jodi from work, so I went ahead and created a Music Page.
Also... notice how the "house" up in the top left corner will always bring you back home! or here anyway.

I just created this webspace for Jodi and I. We hope to post all of our pictures of family and friends for your enjoyment. Also, I will eventually post music that I have recorded both by myself and with others, namely Finish Your Food. I know that the links are broken for now, but hey... I have to go pick up Jodi from work.
